Sleeping Sickness?

So we’ve all been struck by something from Zambia. Katy was the first to get it, and was sick for about three days before starting to feel better, but she’s still feeling pretty crummy. Jess and Drew got it right before we left, and now Catherine and I have it. We’re going out like flies! Hopefully it’s nothing big, but definitely a concern since we only have just enough people to work pairs at the schools, and five of us are sick. Whatever it is, it starts out as a sore throat, then you get a weird dry cough, then you get congested, then you get fevers on and off. I started getting the sore throat/cough/congestion last night on the drive home from Zambia, which turned in to fevers at the school today. John was my partner, and I definitely felt bad since he had to do most of the teaching. A few times I thought I was going to pass out, so I spent part of the day sleeping in the Land Rover and gulping water. It was definitely a rough day. Tonight I feel a lot better after eating really healthy and drinking lots of tea from Catherine. Hopefully a good night of sleep will help rally us for the next two days of camp!!
